Past winners from the DP World Tour's history of championships in Singapore include major champions Sir Nick Faldo, Ian Woosnam, Vijay Singh and Adam Scott; eight time DP World Tour Order of Merit winner and 2010 winning Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie; the first ever Singaporean to win on the DP World Tour, Mardan Mamat; the first ever Chinese player to win on the DP World Tour, Zhang Lian Wei; the first ever Indian player to win on the DP World Tour, Arjun Atal, as well as Nick Dougherty, Matteo Manassero and Ockie Strydom. Last year's tournament was won by Swede Jesper Svensson.

Featuring the likes of victorious 2023 Ryder Cup Team Member and 2019 Open Champion, Shane Lowry, PGA Tour Champion Matthieu Pavon and 15 time DP World Tour winner Paul Casey, there was plenty of exciting action both on and off the course this year.

The DP World Tour (formerly European Tour) made a triumphant return to the shores of Singapore in 2023. The 2023 event was a resounding success, seeing Ockie Strydom shoot a course record 63 (-9) on the final day to emerge victorious for the second time in the 2023 season.
