15 SEPTEMBER 2023  - DP WORLD TOUR PARTNERS WITH VANTAGE POINTE IN LONG TERM DEAL

The DP World Tour (formerly European Tour), the preeminent global tour for men's professional golf, has appointed Vantage Pointe as their event delivery partner for the Singapore Classic in a deal that extends through the 2025 staging of the championship. The inaugural event will be played from 9th-12th February 2023 at host venue Laguna National Golf Resort Club and feature a purse of USD$ 2,000,000.

17 AUGUST 2022  - CLIENT TOPGOLF SEA OPENS FIRST VENUE IN ASIA AT TOPGOLF MEGACITY

Well worth waiting for, Topgolf Megacity in Bangkok opened to much fanfare after two VIP grand opening evenings and a media night. The venue must be seen to be appreciated. Featuring five bars and restaurants, an authentic smoker imported from the USA, a glamorous rooftop bar, 102 hitting bays and an authentic 18 hole putting course and 35,000 sf putting green and events lawn. Vantage Pointe has provided a full slate of Strategic Advisory services focusing on "golf" over the past 15 months leading up to opening including but not limited to; design and supervision of The Puttyard, Topgolf Academy, layout/design/operations, training and best practices and recruitment of key management team members. 

1 JULY 2022  - TOPGOLF THAILAND ANNOUNCES OPENING OF TOPGOLF MEGACITY

Exciting news as our client, Topgolf SEA parent to Topgolf Thailand announces the opening date for Asia's first Topgolf venue at Topgolf Megacity. We have been working alongside our client as their strategic advisors on golf as well as collaborating on the one of a kind design for their 18 hole putting course "The Puttyard".  Check out the video below for all the exciting details.

15 JUNE 2022  - VANTAGE POINTE FOUNDER PATRICK BOWERS RECEIVES PGA OF CANADA RECOGNITION

The PGA of Canada has recently conferred their prestigious 25 Year Service Award to our founder and CEO Patrick Bowers in recognition of his 25 years of membership in the association at the Class A level. Including his early years as an apprentice professional, he has now served 30 years in the PGA of Canada. 

1 MAY 2022 - SINGAPORE'S LEADING RETAILER OF INTERACTIVE DOG TOYS EXTENDS LEASE FOR RETAIL SPACE AT WHEELOCK PLACE

Startup innovator and Vantage Pointe client Woof Living has successfully extended its retail presence at one of Singapore's busiest shopping centres through 2024. Located in Wheelock Place, convenient for both Singapore clients and overseas tourists, it has been a successful experiment in the brand extension from exclusively online to omni-channel retailing. Watch for their presence at this year's Pet Expo too, in late November.

15 OCTOBER 2021 - CONCEPTUAL ROUTING AND COLLABORATIVE MASTER PLANNING WORK COMPLETED

In collaboration with master planning partners at MDL (Mercurio Design Labs), we have completed and delivered our conceptual routing plan work on two world class, championship golf courses planned for Sunshine Heritage Mui Ne in Vietnam. Drawing inspirations from the world's best known links style courses, the elevated seaside location and natural sand dunes provide the perfect template for this course design style. Paired with the innovative and inspiring contemporary design style of all of MDL's buildings and villas, once completed the development will be an impressive new addition to the golf & residential landscape in fast growing Vietnam.

1 SEPTEMBER 2021 - JUDSON T. MACOR APPOINTED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AT VANTAGE POINTE

We are pleased to share that we have appointed Mr. Macor to our senior leadership team based in Singapore. As part of our Strategic Advisory services, we will be exploring opportunities within the luxury lifestyle industry across the region, primarily focused on private aviation for corporate, event and personal use. Judson comes to us as the founder of Airsprint Aviation in 2000 where he has served as the Chairman at Canada's largest and the continent's 6 largest private jet owner and operator. He has a formal eduction in aeronautics, business and law and will be responsible for leading this division of Vantage Pointe's business.

10 MAY 2021 - TOPGOLF SEA SIGNS VANTAGE POINTE TO PROVIDE STRATEGIC ADVISORY

Fresh on the heels of the recent announcement that Topgolf Southeast Asia will open their first venue as Topgolf Thailand at Megabangna in Bangkok, we are pleased to share that Vantage Pointe has been appointed to provide strategic advisory collaborating with one of the world’s most innovative and sought-after brands, Topgolf. Topgolf Southeast Asia is the exclusive developer and franchisee for Topgolf across SEA. They will introduce the Topgolf experience to multiple countries across the region including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Vantage Pointe will provide strategic advisory and specialized golf industry and market intelligence as Topgolf Southeast Asia drives towards their expansion objectives. Additionally, we will utilize our golf subject matter expertise to advise on pre-opening planning, operational design and business modeling, academy and instruction setup, golf marketing and introduction and industry collaborations.

6 DECEMBER 2020 - THE GREENHOUSE RESTAURANT MAKES ITS SPECTACULAR DEBUT

Years in planning and in collaboration with creative group Sempre Design (who was introduced by Vantage Pointe), guests of our client Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore can now experience a lush, forest themed restaurant while they enjoy a picturesque view over the resort's golf courses. While there, you can savor an array of authentic, multi-ethnic cuisines served from five show kitchens. The restaurant takes you on a culinary journey, featuring such diverse food cultures as mouthwatering Royal Thai delicacies, Japanese cuisine, traditional Indian Tandoor, Mediterranean dishes fresh from the pizza oven, Chinese delights and a sumptuous seafood spread and charcuterie board table.

15 NOVEMBER 2020 - CLIENT'S DUSIT THANI LAGUNA RESORT HOTEL HAS ITS "SOFT OPENING" 

The soft-opening of the highly anticipated Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, the first luxury urban golf resort in the city took place this week, welcoming its first overnight guests. Official guest stays will commence the first weekend in December. Vantage Pointe led the original conceptualization, managed the authority approvals, and most importantly drove the operational requirements and appointment of the hotel operator. Destined to become one of Asia's top golf resorts and in collaboration with Vantage Pointe, the resort now looks towards hosting future major golf championships from the most established professional tours in the region.

20 OCTOBER 2020 - CLIENT'S NEW CLUBHOUSE OPENS AT LAGUNA NATIONAL

The soft-opening of the magnificent new clubhouse at Laguna Resort and Laguna National Golf & Country Club. Vantage Pointe drove the original conceptualization, area planning, interior detailing, adjacency programming and design oversight. As part of the luxury golf resort at Laguna, the clubhouse will welcome both its membership base as well as tourists from around the globe.
